Labmaster started collaboration with the Veterinary Teaching Hospital of Helsinki University.

Here we are performing the Foal IgG test which returns quantitative results in 6 minutes. First, a wholeblood sample is diluted, and then the diluted sample is added to the test cassette.

The test procedure was considered simple and straightforward by the hospital personnel. The Foal IgG test results will be compared to similar diagnostic tests at the Veterinary hospital to evaluate test performance.

Point-of-care (POC) testing is usually performed and analyzed in non‐laboratory settings – e.g. at stables. This type of testing may provide results more quickly than send-out lab results, and facilitate planning for the next steps of care.
